How To Make: An Espresso Martini

This video assignment was an exercise in visual continuity. Using a Canon T6i and a basic lighting set-up, I created a quick guide on how to make an espresso martini. The editing creates the illusion of this video being shot in one take using different angles.

While shooting, it was important to keep the edit in mind. Having a clean entrance and a clear exit provides more freedom when assembling the sequence. This means footage of a subject should be taken before there is movement and after the movement has been completed.
